Carol Wells - Center for the Study of Political Graphics

Tuesday, February 20, at 2 PM on Bibliocracy Radio, my guest is Carol Wells, founder and director of The Center for the Study of Political Graphics. For more than three decades it’s been a singular archives and educational resource for a particular political art form: posters which encourage and document human rights, civil rights, peace and justice and anti-war, and so many related struggles. With over 90,000 posters and a commitment to education, curation, and exhibition, CSPG is one of our favorite arts and politics organizations ever. Carol Wells’s life story as activist and curator informs the organization’s ongoing work. For more on CSPG’s work see politicalgraphics.org.
