Bibliocracy at Festival of Books Pt. 1
Thursday, May 1 (May Day!) at 2:30 PM on KPFK, I share my first audio dispatch from last weekend’s 2025 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on the USC campus. I interviewed staffers on-site at some favorite of my favorite booths, today airing conversations with representatives of PM Press, the legendary radical/anarchist publisher and Heyday, the nonprofit publisher of books (and more) on Native California, our natural world, and so much that tells an alternative story of the people and places of our state. Please support Bibliocracy Radio and KPFK during the Fund Drive. More from the Festival next week.
